How to save your phone battery consumption by 90% on Android

Taking note of Battery consumption in your phone is very vital, even if you always have a constant source of recharging it, unless you want to go around carrying charging cords and having to stay close to the wireless or wired charging corner.

After searching for the best battery saver for android and a means of optimising my battery usage, so i don't have to worry about running out of power or recharging , i actually did not find any until now. I will show you how i saved my battery consumption by 90%, yea, 90% you read that right.

Even though phone manufacturers have topped their battery capacities to about 4000mAh and above you still see no difference in battery duration. There are several reason why your battery is being used up, aside your Screen being the main hog, high end applications do share the table here, when left to run on background. There are several free apps on Google play store that can help pin point those apps, i'm not able to recommend one for now. Actually, optimising your battery can increase the life of android phone.

Having pointed out the main factors that can take much from your phone battery, let me take you through this practical means of saving your battery consumption. Lowering your screen brightness to an adaptive luminance is your saving grace. Go over to your phone settings and tap on "Battery" in the menu to see how your phone battery is being used. You will find out that your phone screen is actually consuming  your battery 5x other apps there. So to bring an end to this misuse, go over to Google play store and download Dimly - Download here.

Dimly is your battery saving grace, the application can help reduce the eating up of battery by your screen by adjusting brightness, that's just the simple trick. Your phone inbuilt adaptive brightness can't be as helpful as Dimly. I use an MTK device that has it's lowest screen brightness as bright as the morning sun.
After i got Dimly i could step down the brightness lower than the phone inbuilt screen adaptive can go. Dimly is very easy to use and in addition, it comes with screen blue-light fix, for those having problem with blue light from the screen, like me.

So, install Dimly, run the application, set preferences as you may like. You can opt in for the shake to restore that brings back the normal screen. You can properly use Dimly as android power management app.  Dimly paid version is ad free and i recommend you go for that.

Fell free to tell the goodnews in the comment section.
