Xiaomi is one of the few smartphone makers who still believe in phablets. Company’s Mi Max series is perfect for people looking for some budget phablets. With screen sizes going up and bezels getting thinner, the gap between phablets and smartphones is diminishing. Still, Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi Max 3 smartphone in July.
Xioami CEO Lei Jun posted on Chinese micro-blogging website, confirming the launch of the Mi Max 3. Xioami is currently set for its May end event to launch the Xiaomi Mi 8. Fans around the world were asking about the Mi Max 3 too, so the CEO replied stating it is not yet ready and will launch in July 2018.

It will be interesting to see what will Xiaomi bring with the Mi Max 3. Big display and a humungous battery have always been the main selling point of the Xiaomi’s phablet. We will have to wait until July to see how Xiaomi will take advantage of the 18:9 aspect ratio and might also bring the notch to the smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 636 process as the same have been used with the popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone. As the Note 5 pro comes with a 6-inch display we can expect Mi Max 3 to come with a 7-inch display to have the phablet form factor.

Other than this we can expect 5,000mAh battery and 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage. Pricing has always been the most essential part of the Xiaomi smartphones. We can expect Xiaomi to price the Mi Max 3 at around ₹17,999 in India. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
