After launching it globally Vivo is all set to launch it’s under display fingerprint scanner smartphone called Vivo X21 in India. Vivo has started teasing the launch event to be held on 29th may 2018. The X in teaser confirms the launch of the Vivo X21.
Vivo India has also been teasing the under-display fingerprint scanner, confirming that Vivo X21 UD will be launched. There no difference between the Vivo X21 and Vivo X21 UD other than the in-display fingerprint scanner. It is expected to be priced around ₹38,999 in India and will compete against the recently launched OnePlus 6.
Vivo X21 UD Specifications
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor which is based on AIE mobile platform for enhanced AI functionality. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD up to 256GB. Vivo X21 sports a 6.28-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 19:9 aspect ratio display.
The Vivo X21 and X21 UD houses a 3,200mAh battery and supports fast charging with 18W charger. Coming to the camera, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup with a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture respectively.

There is also a 24-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Along with the smartphones, Vivo also announced its own Ai Assistant called Jovi. The camera also supports the popular face unlock feature and comes with beauty mode and AR stickers. Both the smartphones will be available in White, Black, and Red colour options.
