Last week, Xiaomi launched its best selfie smartphone in the Redmi Series called the Redmi S2 in China. The Chinese company is now all set to launch the Xiaomi Redmi S2 in India. Redmi India has started teasing the smartphone launch for 7th June 2018 in New Delhi.

Xiaomi tweeted ” Every step in your life is defined by a selfie. Find yourself, #FindYourSelfie The BEST selfie smartphone is arriving soon.”As we know Xiaomi is called Redmi S2 as the best selfie smartphone it is time for the phone to come to India.

The budget Xiaomi smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It sports a 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo.

The dual-SIM smartphone supports microSD card up to 256GB and houses a 3080mAh battery. Coming to the main USP of the smartphone, Redmi S2 sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera with 2-micron pixels. It comes with the popular face unlock feature along with AI portrait mode, AI beauty mode, and Front HDR mode.

Xiaomi is calling it the best Redmi selfie phone ever. The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It comes with a f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and a LED light. The rear camera also comes with the popular portrait mode.

The Redmi smartphone uses micro-USB for charging and data syncing and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of connectivity, it comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFI, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
