Huawei is all set for two events later this month. Huawei has confirmed that it will be coming to the MWC 2018 as well as will host a sperate event on 27th February in Paris. The company is expected to launch three new smartphones, most likely at the Paris event as the invite comes with three large O symbols hinting at a triple camera setup.
The Huawei smartphones to be announced are, Huawei P11, P11 Plus, P11 Lite or Huawei P20, Huawei P20, P20 Plus, P20 Lite. We are getting conflicting reports about the names, so we are not sure what will Huawei end up calling it. Now just a few weeks before the launch we got renders of the P20/P11 Lite and P20/P11.
The Huawei new P series smartphones will come with Glass to the front and back. And a metal from all around. The smartphones will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display and will come with iPhone X like notch at the top. Apple used the notch on iPhone X for the sensors for the Face ID and Huawei might also come with a better facial recognition system.
There are two comes cameras at the front which will help in better facial recognition as well as better selfies. Now moving to the back where both the smartphones will differ. The Huawei P11/20 Litw will sport a dual camera setup at the back in a vertical orientation like on iPhone X. Below the cameras lies the LED flash and the fingerprint scanner in the middle.

Moving to the Huawei P20/P11, it will come with a tripe camera setup. Interestingly it will use the same dual-camera setup found in the Lite version, And add another sensor just below the dual camera setup to make it a triple camera setup. It will be interesting to see how will Huawei utilize this tripe camera setup and how well it will be received. Stay tuned to Sdi Tech for more tech updates.
