Android Messages Might Get a Web Version Soon

Thanks to the instant messaging apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Hike etc, the normal text messaging or SMS is fading away. But there are still many people who are using it regularly. The normal messaging apps have improved a lot from the past now you have read receipts, better UI, high-quality images, emojis etc.

The one thing which is not present in your normal text messaging apps is the feature of sending messages using Web. Google is constantly trying to improve its Android Messages text messaging platform and is now all set to allow you to send text messages via Web using a webpage or maybe a web app.

People at Android Police inspected the latest apk version of the Android Messages app and found references for some interesting features. We have already told you the first one that you will be able to send text messages from your computer soon by using a webpage or scanning a QR code.

Another feature they found out was that the code shows support for multiple browsers as well as support for multiple computers as well. Though SMS is not that popular nowadays, if you are still using it Google is looking forward to improving it. We will let you know once the feature is available.
