Xiaomi has finally updated it’s Mi Box line up of smart TV Boxes. Xiaomi on Monday launched the 4th generation of Mi Box called the Mi Box 4 and Mi Box 4C. Xiaomi Mi Box 4 is priced at CNY 349 around ₹3,500 and the Mi Box 4C is priced at CNY 249 around ₹2,500. You can buy these devices in China starting 1st February 2018.
The registrations have already started for the smart TV boxes. As these devices are China exclusive for now, they will be powered by Android but will run on Xiaomi’s own custom PatchWall interface with AI features. The global variant of the device will run on Android TV.

Both the set-top-box supports 4K HDR video streaming along with Dolby Audio+ DTS-HD audio decoder output. With this new AI enabled PatchWall UI, users will be interacting with UI using their voice. You simply have to press the microphone button on your Mi Box remote and ask for your query.
Xiaomi Mi Box 4 is powered by an Amlogic S905L quad-core processor coupled with Mali-45 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The Mi Box 4C uses the same processor but comes with only 1GB of RAM. Mi Box 4 comes with Bluetooth 4.1 support while the Mi Box 4C uses an infrared sensor.

Both the smart TV boxes come with 1 HDMI 2.0 port and 1 USB 3.0 port. Xiaomi is also expected to launch Mi Smart TVs along with the Mi Box in India pretty soon.
