Samsung is all set to launch its flagship smartphone of the year called Samsung Galaxy S9 next month before MWC 2018. Though till now we know a lot about the device, Now we have the first press images of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. Which shows a similar design to the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

This new leaked image by Evan Blass from Venture Beat shows the devices from the front. Samsung Galaxy S9 will sport a  5.8-inch 1440p SAMOLED Infinity display and will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus will come with a 6.2-inch SAMOLE Infinity display and will have 6GB of RAM.

Both the smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor in the US and Exynos 9810 in rest of the world. The 12-megapixel rear camera will come with OIS and Super slow motion feature. The front camera comes with an 8-megapixel sensor and the smartphone is IP68 water and dust resistant.

The fast charging output is same as the predecessors and the battery capacity is also rumored to be same at 3,000mAh. The biggest upgrade comes in terms of the camera, Galaxy S9 will come with “Super Speed” camera which will come with varying apertures as there are two apertures mentioned- f/1.5 and f/2.4.

There will not be much difference between the Galaxy S9 and S9+ except the dual cameras and a slightly larger display. Samsung will retain the Bixby button from the predecessors and will now have a rear placed fingerprint scanner placed below the camera module. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
