The processor is based on its second-generation 10nm FinFET process technology and Samsung claims that the Exynos 9810 is its most innovative mobile processor till date. It claims to have enhanced the single core performance by two-fold and a 40% increase in the multi-core performance.
“The Exynos 9 Series 9810 is our most innovative mobile processor yet, with our third-generation custom CPU, ultra-fast gigabit LTE modem and, deep learning-enhanced image processing,” said Ben Hur, vice president of System LSI marketing at Samsung Electronics. “The Exynos 9810 will be a key catalyst for innovation in smart platforms such as smartphones, personal computing and automotive for the coming AI era.”
The processor comes with 8 cores CPU, four of which are powerful 3rd gen custom cores clocked at 2.9GHz and other four are for increasing efficiency clocked at 1.9GHz. It will result in seamless multi-tasking and faster load and transactions time. The Exynos 9810 comes with neural network based deep learning algorithms and better security.

It comes coupled with Mali-G72 MP18 GPU the will bring a 20% increase in performance than its predecessor. The SoC supports LPDDR4x RAM and cameras up to 24 megapixels on both the front and back and a 16-megapixel +16 megapixel dual camera setup. It will also support 4K videos at 120fps and UFS 2.1 and SD 3.0 storage. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
