Hey Whats-up guys welcome to the 30th episode of the Tech Updates, Let’s get started. Last month Apple launched three new iPhones but only one got all the limelight, the iPhone X (ten). While the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were available from last month only, iPhone X will be available for pre-order from 27th October in India.
iPhone X starts at 89,000 for the 64GB variant and will be available for pre-order via online giants, Amazon India, Flipkart and Apple retail stores. The phone will be available on 3rd November. While Flipkart has given the exact time that is 12:31 PM on 27th October, Amazon Sale will start early at 12 AM on 27th October.
OPPO is all set to launch it’s first 18:9 aspect ratio near bezel-less display smartphone in India called the Oppo F5 on 2nd November 2017. The Chinese company has already started teasing the device to create the hype around the device and have shown the smartphone in images. As you can see in the image there are almost no bezels on side and have bezels at the top and bottom like we have seen on Galaxy S8 and Note 8 but as this is promotional material we highly doubt that the actual smartphone will look this good,
We hope Oppo proves us wrong. Oppo is also focusing a lot on it’s AI powered selfie. With this AI will automatically beautify your image or will make your selfie better. Oppo is known for it’s selfie so we have high expectations from the device in this aspect.
Xiaomi today has launched three new products in India called the Mi VR Play 2, Mi Power Bank 2 and the Mi noise cancelling type-C earphones. All of these are available starting today on Xiaomi’s official website Mi.com Mi VR Play 2 is priced at 1,299 and looks just like the Google DayDream View, Mi Power Bank Pro is priced at ₹1,599 and comes with 10,000 mAh capacity. Lastly Mi noise cancelling earphones are priced at ₹2,999.
Apple has acquired a New Zealand based wireless charging company called PowerbyProxi. The company was founded in 2007 by Fady Mishriki and makes small Qi wireless charging standard products. Apple says team will be a great addition as Apple works to create a wireless future”. We have already seen Apple going for wireless charging in the new iPhones which works with Qi standard charging.
Ashes Cricket is launching in India on 16th November for Xbox One and PS4. The game is priced at ₹4,299 for both PS4 and Xbox One and the PC version will be launching sometime in December (around Christmas) and will be available digitally via Steam just like we have seen with WWE 2K18. We don’t know the price of PC version yet but it should be around ₹1000-1,500.
Doogee has announced the launch date for it’s highly anticipated Doogee Mix 2 smartphone. The smartphone will go on sale on 6th November at 7:00 AM GMT. We don’t know the price yet but it would be around $200 around ₹12,500. The smartphone is powered by the 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM.
It sports a 5.99 inch Full HD+ Bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. At the back Mix 2 comes with Dual camera setup with a 16 megapixel 13 megapixel sensor with Dual LED Flash, The camera is capable of 4K video recording. At the front we have dual 8 megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture and 130 degree wide angle view.
