Xiaomi along with Mi 5x and MIUI 9 launched a new product called Mi AI speakers, as the name suggests speakers have artificial intelligence and can be controlled through your voice , just like Amazon Echo and Google Home.
But the Mi AI speaker is much cheaper than it’s competition at CNY 299 (around ₹2,800). It will be available only in china as of now with no information on global launch. It is a rectangular shape speaker with 6 microphones that will help in getting your voice from all around.
On the top of the device all the media controls are placed and a blue led notification light all around the edge. Right now the speakers are not as good as the competition in terms of features but just like MIUI the support for apps and tasks through the speakers will improve and remember for that price even the basic functionality would be enough considering how well Xiaomi Mi speakers are in terms of audio.
