Using the ‘Add a Team’ button after selecting the content you want from SharePoint, your employees using Microsoft Teams can get access to everything in one place, at literally just a click of a button. Whether it is pages, lists, or libraries you can navigate to the primary document library from the Files tab.

2. Better SharePoint tab experience  in Teams

The SharePoint tab experience in Microsoft Teams has undergone an upgrade. You can pin any page or document library news as a separate tab in the Teams channel by clicking the ‘+’ button in a channel and pinning the content from SharePoint. Additionally, the SharePoint tab in Teams will have an interesting, all-new ‘Recommended’ section which will allow your employees to find relevant content from your SharePoint site and pin it in the Team channel.

3. Improvements to the SharePoint pages app

Another noteworthy feature is that you can now easily pick a page from any SharePoint site using its link and add it as a tab in Teams. In the updated version, it is easier to choose the pages from the connected site, just by pasting the URL. The SharePoint team site pages can be used as dashboards for content — links, news, activities or anything else.

The Next Level of Collaboration

With this latest update, the SharePoint admin center Migration Manager lets users select a Teams channel or OneDrive username for content migration. This deeper integration between SharePoint and Microsoft Teams comes at a much-needed time, supporting remote collaboration with ease and supporting effortless teamwork.
