Conventional Encryption



Conventional Encryption: -

1.) Conventional encryption algorithms are based on substitution and
      permutation.
2.) Conventional encryption is symmetric.
3.) The sender and receiver both share the same key.
4.) The key must be kept secret.
5.) One algorithm is used with one key for encryption and decryption.
6.) Knowledge of algorithm plus samples of cipher text must be insufficient
      to determine the key.
