After a discussion with Shahin Kunnath, We lowered our price by 50% compared to other customers and decided to work with a dedicated engineering model.
Bhavesh Dudhat and two more people were ePaisa’s engineering managers who have taken interviews of our candidates. After 20-25 interviews and machine tasks, ePaisa selected 3 engineers to start with. We were happy to crack high-value customers.
We started working on their project EatOS, their manager Shaleen Kukreti, who took a meeting explained the product, and they set up their development environment. We were supposed to connect EatOS remote server, do all programming, and deploy coding. Which was making the process slower but that was important for ePaisa security. All of sudden they started having multiple meeting in a day, which was giving task demo, every one hour developer were supposed to tell was done, though they were using time doctor which gives them complete access of screenshot, activities. So our engineers were supposed to work 8 hours + 2 hours meeting daily. Anyway, I asked people to pay extra and do if they have time, to be honest, I was not happy with this much stress with by Shaleen kukreti.
We raised the issue with his manage Shahin Kunnath Bro, how this can work long term, these are humans we can’t keep doing this for a long time. Nothing happens, the Same process by Shaleen kukreti, morning scrum, evening reporting, multiple meeting in daily to check what is progress. Really we have no idea, why he needs that many updates status when he is getting everything in his server and screens every 15 min.
A month passes, ePaisa liked our work, they asked to hire 4-5 more engineers, it was going well. All of sudden we got to know they removed our payment by 20%, We asked why, just because our engineers have not added time on time doctor that which thing took how much time, however, they already have a screenshot for 40% of extra time than actual working hours.
As EatOS were hiring more people, we given that discount for the first month. ePaisa appreciated our work, here is proof of their appreciation, code was in their system, chatting we were doing in their slack, time tracking was in their system.
