Manchester United welcome Leicester City at Old Trafford – a Super Sunday game that promises so much attacking football. None will love to settle for a draw, so that makes it more interesting. United need the maximum three points to stay within fourth-placed Arsenal’s reach, while Leicester will clinch the EPL title trophy if they can win the game.
It is difficult to predict Louis van Gaal’s starting line-up as the manager has the tendency to overly change the look of his first eleven. The only certainty is the 4-1-4-1 formation he would play.
David De Gea is certain to play between the poles. He has been solid of late and there is no better option in the present team.
The strongest centre-back pairing seem to be the combination of Chris Smalling and Daley Blind. I Expect him to go with more experience full backs in Valencia and Darmian in the right and left back respectively.
Although Michael Carrick and Morgan Schneiderlin are the major contenders for this spot, I expect van Gaal play Schneiderlin in this game. Carrick was superb in the cup game against Everton but the other player’s energy is needed in this game.
Expect the Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata to attack from the middle while pacy Antonio Martial and Lingard man the left and right wings respectively.
Who else but Marcus Rashford, the young lad has proven he can perform under pressure therefore he deserves to lead the club’s attack.
