(Video) Leeds United fans want first team action for Jack Clarke after this stunning volley last night

It’s not just the EFL Championship table that Leeds United are topping at the moment. Leeds’ young guns aren’t doing so badly either as their U-23 team are sitting pretty at the summit of the Professional Development League.

Leeds U-23 took on Bristol U-23 on Friday at Elland Road hoping to consolidate their position at the top of the table. In the end, Bristol were no match for the Peacocks who demolished them 5-0, playing some beautiful football along that way.

The third goal of the game in particular, scored by the highly-rated Jack Clarke, caught a lot of people’s attention for how beautifully it was constructed. Leeds calmly passed their way around their opponents and worked the ball to Jack Harrison on the left-flank, whose cross was brilliantly volleyed into the top corner by Clarke. Check out the goal below:

Jack Clarke’s form has gotten Leeds fans on social media clamoring for the youngster to be given a chance in the first team. If he keeps on playing like this, Clarke certainly can’t be far away from forcing himself into Bielsa’s plans.
