After being rested against Stoke, a rejuvenated Eden Hazard returned to action in a high octane London derby last evening.
The Belgian was in inspired form as he scored the Champion’s first goal of the night, picking up yet another MOTM award in the process.
Hazard who turns 27 this week made some mouth watering runs and dribbles, taking on the Arsenal defence with ease and emerging with the ball more often than not.
One instance where the Belgian’s mastery was on full display was during one of the lightning fast counter attacks from the Blues.
Hazard, after bringing an aerial ball down amidst three Arsenal players, deftly flicked it into Alvaro Morata’s path with an exquisite back heel Pass.
Fresh from being named Belgium’s footballer of the year, the attacker shows no signs of letting up as he goes from strength to strength starting the new year with another clinical performance.
