Manchester United turned on the style in the second half to score two past Everton and regained the second spot in the points table.

The result gave Jose’s men a timely boost after being subjected to a host of criticism for an apparent lack of ambition over the past few weeks.



But those reports seem wide off the mark at least if Juan Mata’s social media activity is anything to go by.

United’s diminutive playmaker showed his selflessness once again by opining Jesse Lingard deserved the player of the month bong on United’s Official page despite being one of the contenders himself.

United fans were quick to notice the Spaniard’s comment on Instagram and shared screenshots of the same all over social media to applaud the wonderful gesture.
