Moussa Sissoko has had his fair share of critics ever since his £30 million move from Newcastle to Tottenham in 2016. Having failed to establish himself as an integral component of Mauricio Pochettino’s side last season, the Frenchman is undoubtedly making a great impression this term.

Spurs produced a memorable performance against the defending European champions at the Santiago Bernabeu to come away with a merited point. Fundamental to the Lilywhites gritty display in the 1-1 stalemate was Moussa Sissoko.

The Frenchman exhibited a lot of character and temperament on the big night while also fabricating some exquisite skills. Leading a spurs counter attack in the second half Sissoko categorically wrecked the Los Blancos left-back Marcelo as he dinked the ball over the charging Brazilian while running at full speed to leave him biting the dust.
