More PVC Vinyl custom patch guidelines

Today's blog is a little more information regarding the Pvc Vinyl custom patches guidelines.   Today we are going to discuss your artwork, and how it will look on custom pvc patches.

The above picture is a good example of a great looking patch.  This pvc vinyl patch is sized just right - at a standard 2 x 2 patch.  The design was created from a vector file, which makes the whole design resizable.  That means this patch will look great small and then again larger at a 4 x 4, and even larger on a full back patch.

If you don't have a vector file for your design because you have used a designer, you can always ask the designer to resize the image so when they convert the file into a normal jpeg or png file, it will be the right size and look great.

If you only have a jpeg, and no designer available, you have to be careful what size the file is compared to the size of the patch that you want to make.  If you are pulling off thumbnails or small image files from the internet, there is a good chance that they will not work very well when we have to enlarge them and make the pics into custom Pvc Vinyl Patches.  if the design is too small, it will become fuzzy or pixelated when it is resized, and that will translate directly into the patch and you may not be happy with the result.  The same goes for copying pictures of other patches to make into pvc vinyl patches- the picture that you send us is the same picture that we use for the patch that we create.  That means your new patch will be a picture of a patch!  Did that make any sense?

For the best results, you need to have a jpeg or better yet a PNG of the vector file that was created.  You will appreciate the results if you use high quality jpegs or pictures.

Picture patches are the same but yet a little different.  If you are using a picture to make a picture patch, you sill have to have a high quality picture to send to us.  Of course the suggestion that you contact the designer to resize it for you does not apply, but you still need to make sure that the quality is still there.  If you only have a thumbnail of the picture, it will not be big enough to make into a patch.  We CAN do it of course, we can make any patch that you want, however it simply won't look great.

Hopefully these tips and hints will help give you some guidelines to create some amazing custom patches!
