Johnnson will be joining teammate Justin Holl, and Head Coach Sheldon Keefe in representing the North Division.
The young 23 year old Swedish winger, has 29 points (17 g, 12a) in his 38 games thus far in the 2017/18 AHL Season.
In my opinion, Johnsson has the ability to take the next step into the NHL but without an openings in the NHL lineup could be part of the future or part of a trade for different positional assets?
It was also announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs had returned Kasperi Kapanen to the AHL Marlies.

Kapanen, has 2 goals in the 8 games he has played for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season.
Expect Kapanen to be back with the Leafs sooner than later. He is a top 9 talent and skill but has zero room to bump any incumbents from the lineup.
Let us see how that plays out at the Trade Deadline.
