Toronto Maple Leafs (20-12-1) versus Detroit Red Wings (11-13-7)

Its Game Day !!!

Our beloved and limping Toronto Maple Leafs pack their bags and head from Trap City in Minnesota to a hopefully more up tempo matchup in Detroit versus the Dead Things.

Without much information being provided, it shall be assumed that the Leafs will be without young star, Auston Matthews.

All of the underlying story lines are in place with Head Coach Babcock returning to the city where it all began.

The Leafs are in dire need of getting the powerplay back into ‘dangerous mode’.  Currently it seems lack lustre and it may take a cheesy goal to get moving.

Teams are adjusting to the Leafs powerplay unit, and in turn Coach Babcock will have to make certain compensations in order to give a fresh look to the opposition PK.

One goal on the man advantage just isn’t going to cut it.

Starting goalie for the Leafs has not been announced at the time of this being posted, and lines will be updated as well.
