Fulham are interested in signing Ghanaian international, Asamoah Gyan on loan from Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese league.
According to reports, the striker could fly out to London for a medical this week with the player welcoming the opportunity to work under Slavisa Jokanovic.
Jokanovic has been frustrated by Fulham's lack of activity in the Transfer market and Gyan is one of his personal targets. It is also reported that Hull City and Turkish side Besiktas are also interested in securing the services of the former Sunderland player on loan.
The Ghana captain spent a season at Sunderland in 2010-11 becoming a fan favorite where he scored 10 premier league goals at the time but would shock the Black Cats by leaving for Al Ain in the Middle East where he was able to quadruple the salary he was earning at the Stadium of Light.
Gyan would win three league titles with Al Ain before moving to China in 2015 with a massive salary of £227,000 per week, making him one of the highest paid players in the world.
However, he has not lived up to his billing, struggling to find form and consistency. His game time has also been limited with the arrival of Hulk at the club.
Ghana's all-time leading goal scorer, Gyan has played at three World Cups and helped his country to reach the quarter finals in 2010.
