Both men were with the new FIFA scribe in Abuja on Thursday and hailed the new FIFA Secretary General, Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura for her historic appointment.
“We are very much delighted at your appointment. You are not only the first woman in this very important post but you are also the first African. We are very proud of you and what you have achieved with the United Nations to deserve this position.
“By your appointment, the FIFA President Gianni Infantino has shown his hand at the kind of organization he wants to run: a dynamic, efficient and people –friendly institution that will fulfill his motto of bringing football back to FIFA and FIFA back to football,” NFF President Pinnick said at the meeting.
Both Pinnick and Dikko delivered to Mrs Samoura a special message from the FIFA President, who will visit Nigeria next month
