Super Eagles midfielder Babatunde Michael is in celebration mood having registered a goal on his official debut for Moroccan side, Raja Casablanca on Friday night.
The winter acquisition for the Moroccan giants scored his goal in the 66th minute as he equalized 1-1 against FC Fus Rabat of Morocco.
The excited Babatunde ran towards the fans for celebration but was asked to hurry up as his team were keen to put in more effort to nick the tie.
Speaking after the game, the Nigeria international said he was happy to get a goal on his debut but he also admitted that he could have gotten at least one more in the keenly contested tie.
“It was a good start for me to score a goal, but I know I could have even scored more” Babatunde stated.
Keen to build on his fine start at Raja, Babatunde is expected to feature next weekend against KawKab Marrakech but it remains to be seen if his compatriot Osaguona Ighodaro who is still recovering from injury will be fit enough for the trip away.
