Players and non-playing staff of Enugu Rangers would be basking in delight after seeing the success of their NPFL 2016 campaign pay more dividends.
Rangers International were hosted by the state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Monday at the Okpara Square in Enugu and were handsomely rewarded with a cheque of N41.5m to be shared among players, crew, and management staff.
The governor would take it further by giving the players and staff a plot of land each in a newly designed Rangers Estate in Enugu.
Gracing the occasion also would be Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaj Sa'ad Abubakar who is a staunch fan of Enugu Rangers starting from his days in Nsukka (from 1977 to 1983) as an Army Officer and has remained committed to the noble course of the club till date.
The Flying Antelopes of Enugu broke a 32-year title drought to win the league title last season.
