Legendary striker Samuel Eto'o has come out to criticize Jose Mourinho's style of football with Man Utd.
Jose Mourinho has come under criticisms from supporters and media alike for his defensive switch towards the final minutes of the game which has yet to prove wise as his team continues to drop points.
Eto'o, who played under Mourinho at Inter Milan and Chelsea, spoke about the Portuguese's style deeming it too defensive.
“Jose has changed a lot. I discovered someone exceptional when I came to Inter. At Chelsea, it was already a bit difficult.
“He asked for three years to relaunch Manchester United, but you have to get your team playing, you can’t defend continually. Football isn’t like that anymore.
“Let’s be clear: I’ve nothing against Jose. He is able to pick someone, tell him ‘you are the best’ and he’ll have a very good game. But football is evolving.”
The former Cameroon international also spoke about his future with rumors linking him to Marseille in France.
“We'll see (about Marseille), I can't say 'no.' But I have to ask the question to my wife. She's the boss," Eto'o tells Telefoot.
