[Week 10] Victor Moses Is Conte's Wildcard + Other Things Learnt From The EPL

Week 10 of the EPL and the Table seems to shape up right for those who find themselves at the top four of the table and for those left out, the table is still amoebic

Man City bounced back from a winless run to get themselves back at the top of the table after Arsenal had stayed there for a while virtue of a 4-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light to heap misery on David Moyes. The ex-Man Utd boss would be joined by current Red Devil's boss who watched his side have more than 30 attempts at goal without finding the back of the net making the Red Devils slip further down in the race for the title.

With no further ado, here are the five things we learnt from the Premier League this weekend.

Mourinho Not Special Anymore
Straight to Old Trafford to begin our lessons learnt and a stalemate between Man Utd and Burnley confired to people a doubt that had been lingering for a while now- Mourinho is no longer special.
Sent To The Stands Against Burnley On Saturday
The Portugese coach who during his best years was lauded for his tactical flexibility has lost that finesse that once circled him.

Mourinho finds it hard to negate teams and when teams try to negate him, finds it hard to break them. Not to mention his baffling substitutions that the Old Trafford faithful are remaining silent on. The Confused One maybe?

Victor Moses- Chelsea's Joker.
There is something about having a joker when playing a card game and Antonio Conte must feel delighted about having one.

Victor Moses has stood out in a 3-4-3 formation that is taking the league by surprise and few would have expected the Nigerian international to thrive in it.
Victor Has Gone From A Future Unknown To A Future With Potential
Moses has shown his adaptability but it would be the shape-shifting skills Conte would be joyous about. The Nigerian is 26 years old- a peak age, but has got the legs to play in any position along the flanks. His occasional cut into the center of the park just highlights the wild card potentials his got for Conte to unleash.

Giroud Is Worth More Than The Bench.
If there is a better way to claim your worth to a team how about getting two important goals from the bench?
The French International Bagged A Brace For Arsenal
The Frenchman has always been a personal favorite to me but somehow seems to be able to draw a love-hate relationship. His two quick goals against Sunderland helped the Gunners bag three points and see them move top of the table for a while.

Fiddling with Sanchez and Walcott at spearhead positions has proven to work already but with Giroud, Arsenal have what other teams lack this season, an alternative- a solid alternative that should be starting every game.

Liverpool With Every Factor.
If there was a time to be afraid of Liverpool as a non-fan it would be now, Brendan Rodgers 2013/2014 boys are not close. Fear Factor, X-Factor, whatever it is Liverpool have it, and trust me I'm not talking about your TV Shows.
How About Some Sail To The Title, Boys?
Klopp's men are dangerously wild, individually skilled and competent, and work relentlessly as a team. I don't know if they are thirsty for a title considering few have been in a position to contend for one but they are thirsting for something. Big difference between them and Rodger's boys is they are not heavily reliant on one person to come through in delivering.

It is okay to watch them with doubt as the boisterous display comes as a result of young bloods in the system, one just has to wonder if when push comes to shove in the title race, do they have the mentality of men to stick through the adversity and not collapse?

Unbeaten Does Not Count Without Wins.
Tottenham might be the only team unbeaten in the Premier League and unless the boys from North London are on a race to compete in an international art-fest, these draws are not going to do any good.
Tottenham Are Unbeaten In The League But Are Not Where They Want To Be
Of course a draw is better than a loss, even sweeter as in a 4-4 draw between Newcastle and Arsenal, but with this unbeaten record, the Spurs are not top of the table, second, third, okay... Spurs are in fifth position.

Tottenham travel to Arsenal to play while their other title rivals have games they should easily win, the ramifications of a Spurs' loss at Emirates is not one a fan would like to think about. Tottenham need the wins.
