UPDATE: Detroit Lions add two players to injury report

Throughout the week, the Detroit Lions had complete health with every player being available to practice as the team prepares for their Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Jets. That changed a bit on Friday as defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois and offensive lineman Andrew Donnal were added to the injury report. DT Ricky Jean Francois did not practice today due to illness. OL Andrew Donnal was limited with a knee injury. https://t.co/5fmTQjHUCQ — Tim Twentyman (@ttwentyman) September 7, 2018 As you can see below, the injury report for the Lions and the Jets look much different. Sure, you can say that it’s “just the preseason” and that it doesn’t matter. But, I believe that I can safely speak for most Lions fans when I say that we didn’t see a whole heckuva lot to be excited about from the Lions in their four scrimmages. Considering the idea that (in my opinion) every team but Detroit actually improved their roster since the end of last season, the thought of playing all of Green Bay, Minnesota, and yes, even Chicago twice is daunting. By my count, I see one win out of those six games (which would come from Detroit’s home matchup with the Bears). To read the rest of the article by Shae Brophy, please click on the link below.
