Check the Report: Lions Injury Report brings some good news

The Detroit Lions have been fighting off the injury bug all season long, especially on the offensive line. Good news came forth today in the form of the official injury report, however, as it appears that the Lions will have their starters on the offensive side of the trenches 100% healthy. Detroit fans should rejoice and look forward to improved blocking with T.J. Lang and Taylor Decker back at full strength.

Offensive Coordinator Jim Bob Cooter told MLive recently that having the offensive line healthy for the first time this regular season is a good thing for the team.

“As you go through a season, a lot of times you have injuries and you get less healthy along the way,” offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter said. “To be able to look up and get more healthy, that’s a benefit. We have a bunch of good players on this offense and every week in this league guys are dealing with things, sometimes guys are up, guys are down. When you have a full complement, whenever that is, that’s good for the team. That’s good for the offense and hopefully we’ll see improvement there.”

Sadly, on the other side of the ball, the news it not as good. As we speculated earlier in the week, defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is still out this Sunday due to a back injury. Safety Don Carey and linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin are listed as questionable as well. See the full report listed below.
