Rnd 11 Trades Out: Cogs, Billings, Ellis - In: Jelwood, Menegola, Mihocek
Rnd 12 Trades Out: Laird, Guelfi, Phillips - In: Rocky, Wingard, Burton
Rnd 13 Trades Out: Holman - In: Ahern
Summary
While I didn't improve as much as i had originally hoped, can't be too upset about a 15k improvement. It's obviously much easier when you're coming from as far back as i am but happy nevertheless. It's a shame rd 14 went so badly, could've been potentially sitting in the top 15k with my now adjusted goal of top 10k not too far away.
I know there is still some debate whether planning for the byes is critical to one's success but i can say for certain that if i didn't at least take them into consideration by rd 14 would've been far worse.
I need to remind myself not to get too carried away with bringing in GC/PTA players though. While there was nothing to suggest Witts would start churning out 50's, i don't think he would've been in my team if i didn't see the potential overall gain from him playing every week.
