Niang, Vergara & Cristante To Leave In January

Three to part ways, but few others shall replace them…

Milan youngsters trio M’Baye Niang, Jherson Vergara and Bryan Cristante are expected to be loaned out once the winter transfer window re-opens.

The former French U-21 international has picked up only 7 appearances this season, coming on as a substitute on 6 of them whilst scoring one goal. Cristante is a regular starter in the UEFA Youth League, but is having struggle to get into the first team. Whilst, the giant central defender Vergara has not debuted for the senior roster yet.

According to MilanNews.it, Cagliari have set their eyes on both Cristante and Niang and are set to lure them on loan for the rest of the season. The Rossoblu may consider Cristante as a perfect replacement for departure-bound midfielder Radja Nainggolan, and the latter could add up to their attacking options.

In this case, Milan are set to use the two youngsters as a bait to get Davide Astori or Nicola Murru.

However, speaking to Sky Sport 24, Gianluca Di Marzio suggested that Niang is still on Genoa’s radar and the Kucka exchange, which failed to happen in the summer, is likely to go through in 2014.

Francesco Lodi has been mentioned as another Milan target, however he seems to be on his way to Torino, who have voiced their interest in public.
