Arsenal are planning a move for Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani.
The report in England (The Sun) suggested that Arsenal are tracking the progress of Daniele Rugani.
The Italy international joined Juventus from Empoli for a fee in the region of 5 million euros in February 2015. His contract expires in the summer of 2021.
Daniele Rugani has played 56 times for Juventus since signing from Empoli, scoring four goals and creating one assist in that time.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best young centre-backs in Italy.
Daniele Rugani has represented Italy at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 56 caps and scoring four goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2016. As a member of Italy national football team, Daniele Rugani won four caps.
Adding a centre-back remains Arsenal’s top priority this summer and Arsene Wenger will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming months.
Arsene Wenger has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.
The Arsenal manager has kept an eye on Daniele Rugani for the last 12 months and he is impressed with the centre-back’s performances.
According to the Sun, “The Italian centre-back, 23, has struggled for game time in Turin this season despite Leonardo Bonucci’s exit. And Gunners chief Arsene Wenger could be tempted into a summer move as he aims to fix his leaky defence.”

Juventus are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the centre-back, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
How strong that interest is and whether Arsenal will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
