2017 IPL 10th Match Highlights: Mumbai Indians VS. Sunrisers Hyderabad
The 10th match of the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League was played between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The match took place on the home ground of Mumbai Indians, i.e. Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on 12 April at 20:00 as per IST and 2:30 as per GMT. With a combination of good bowling and batting, Mumbai Indians defeated the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 wickets. What happened in the match?
As the match was played on the home ground of Mumbai Indians, they had an extra advantage. They got lucky enough to win the toss and chose to bowl. Sunrisers came in to bat and made quite a good opening. Shikhar Dhawan and team captain David Warner did a fine partnership scoring 48 and 49 runs respectively. But as soon as they got out, Sunrisers collapsed on 158 runs with a fall of 8 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah of Mumbai Indians took 3 wickets at an economy rate of 6.00. When Mumbai Indians came to bat, Parthiv Patel played well scoring 39 runs giving a good start to the team.
Patel’s wicket was taken by Deepak Hooda. Nitish Rana and Krunal Pandya played good as well scoring 45 and 37 runs respectively. With such efforts, Mumbai Indians managed to win scoring 159 runs in 18.4 overs with a fall of 6 wickets.

It seemed that Mumbai Indians will drown in this season when they lost their very first match to Rising Pune Supergiant. But, they made a great comeback winning straight 2 matches. In this particular match, bowler Jasprit Bumrah shined taking 3 wickets and hence, becoming the winner of the player of the match title.
