Big Weekend of SEC Games

This weekend’s games involving SEC teams should give us a better idea of which teams are gonna be around for the long haul.

After getting swept by Alabama last week its time to see if Arkansas’ early season success (19-5) is for real. They will
face off against No. 15/14 Tennessee who is off to a fast 21-3 start this season thanks to surprisingly well pitching.

Ole Miss has been continuing to build on its success from last year with its 21-3 start. The team get a tough test this weekend though when they hosts No. 7 Texas A&M in Oxford for a three-game series.

Mississippi State takes their 21-5 record into their SEC home opener to play No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide (24-2).

South Carolina has stiff test in it’s three-game series against No. 2/1 Florida this weekend at Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field.

Auburn (22-3) who is now firing on all cylinders with both outstanding pitching and their bats coming alive like you
expect from a Auburn team. The team travels to Tampa, Fla. for a five-game tournament beginning Friday with a
doubleheader against North Dakota State and USF at 10 a.m.

The Georgia Bulldogs (24-3) play their SEC opener against No. 17 Kentucky (18-4). The teams face off on Saturday at
noon ET before having a 7 p.m. ET first pitch on Sunday and Monday. All three games will be featured on the SEC Network while admission is free at Jack Turner Stadium.

No. 13 LSU (19-6) heads to Kansas to close out non-conference play when they face Wichita State and four other teams this week.
