Welcome back to the PGH Sports Castle Podcast! It’s been a bit since we’ve done a show, but for good reason. Recently, host Rachael Kriger took a job and moved down to Ocala, Florida. But don’t worry, she’s still all in on the Steelers and her beloved Riverhounds!
This week on the show, Rachael welcomes her friend from Pittsburgh Sports Now, Mike Asti. Of course, that’s not only where you can find Mike’s work. In fact, Mike is the manager of Steelers Now and is a contributor for WVSportsNow, WV MetroNews and 93.7 The Fan.
Mike and Rachael begin the show catching up, including Mike chatting about his recent wedding to his beautiful wife Emily, along with Rachael’s big move. Then, it’s right into business. Mike recently attended and covered the Hall of Fame game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys, where the Steelers won 16-3.
Also, Mike covered the enshrinement in Canton, Ohio, of four Pittsburgh Steelers this past weekend into the Hall of Fame. They discuss the speeches and more from Bill Cowher, Troy Polamalu, Alan Faneca, and the honoring of the late Bill Nunn, who passed in 2016.
