Blue Angels here to tout 2018 Cleveland National Air Show

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The roar you hear over downtown Cleveland Tuesday morning will belong to two members of the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s precision demonstration flight team. They are here to get the word out about the Cleveland National Air Show, which will feature the Blue Angels on September 1, 2, and 3, 2018. The visiting aviators are Lt. Andre Webb of Lawton, Oklahoma and Lt. Dave Steppe of Birmingham, Alabama, who will meet with members of the news media as well as organizers and backers of the air show. Just in time for morning rush hour, Webb and Steppe are expected to arrive in F/A-18 Hornets around at 8:45 a.m., landing at Burke Lakefront Airport, according to a news release. Since 1964, the air show has drawn up to 100,000 to Burke during the Labor Day Weekend. Cleveland is one of 31 cities where the Blue Angels will perform in 2018, according to the news release. Additional details about the air show are available at www.clevelandairshow.com
