Wagner/Poughkeepsie Journal Five years ago, Sue Johnson fell in love with the New York Air Show. And every summer since, she has made the trip to see “a spectacular show” that seems to “get better every year.” “I’m in love with the show itself,” the City of Poughkeepsie resident said. “The planes are what keeps me coming back and (the fact) that I bring my entire family, including grandchildren.” Johnson will be attending the second day of the event, which runs Saturday and Sunday this weekend at Stewart International Airport. This year, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline the show. In it’s third year at Stewart, the airshow brings both aviation aficionados and a big economic impact to the mid-Hudson Valley, according to Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus. “Every year the crowds grow —  it’s been nothing but successful,” Neuhaus said. The demonstration by the Blue Angels, officially the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, will include the team’s C-130, also known as “Fat Albert,” and six F/A-18 Hornets.
