In this episode of Sailing Nandji, we try to sail south east from the greatest surf spot in New Caledonia. We finally have a plan for our future and this involves heading to the city of Noumea to check out of the country.

We have some challenging trade winds to negotiate whilst day Sailing for 3 days to return to Noumea. Once back in the big smoke it is time to prepare Nandji for our future adventures. We plan to sail north and to more remote areas, therefore we have to make sure Nandji is ready to do this.

We fix any minor issues and try to eliminate any problem for the future where we will have no resources to fix stuff. We attempt all this in a foreign country where not many people speak our language or choose to assist. The challenges of travelling are always exciting and keep life interesting, that is why we travel in the first place!
