Spain Edged England in UEFA Nations League

Spain started their Uefa Nations League campaign with a positive result after defeating home team England 2-1 on Sunday.

Not having the most impressive World Cup 2018, La Furia Roja are eager to start over in a fine fashion under their new boss Luis Enrique, who is making his coaching in that match.

Both teams were determined in showing their quality and it was the home team that got things going as they got themselves in front after 11 minutes through Marcus Rashford’s effort.

However, that lead didn’t last long as two minutes later the away team drew level through Atletico Madrid star, Saul Niguez, making the match much more interesting.

Spain turned things around soon after the half hour mark this time with a goal from Rodridgo, giving the visitor that slender lead going into half time break.

The two teams keep on pushing hard in search for more goals, but none of them were successful in their efforts, as the 2-1 score lie remain until the final whistle was blown.

It was a positive result indeed for Spain as their new adventure under Enrique started with an away victory over England, which recently received many praises due to their performances in World Cup 2018.
