Chelsea Back On Winning Ways, Spurs and Arsenal Destroys Opponent
It doesn’t take long for Chelsea to get themselves back on that winning path as following their defeat from Tottenham Hotspur in previous league fixture, Antonio Conte’s men hammered Leicester City this Saturday.
Playing away from home without the troublesome Diego Costa, The Blues picked up a comfortable win over the defending champion as they notched three goals without any reply.
The away side only took less than 10 minutes before getting themselves ahead thanks to an effort from Marcos Alonso, who finished well from inside the penalty area.
Minutes into the second period, it was 2-0 as the ex-Fiorentina man strike again for the Blues, nothing up his first brace for the London based outfit.
Chelsea eventually sealed their victory with a third goal scored by Pedro after a lovely interchanging play with N’golo Kante and Willian.
Meanwhile, two other London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur also grabbed all three points, both scoring four goals passed their opponent.
Arsene Wenger’s boys defeated struggling side, Swansea City with goals coming from Olivier Giroud, two own goals along with Alexis Sanchez.
As for Spurs, Mauricio Pochettino’s side hammered West Bromwich Albion with star striker, Harry Kane scoring a hat-trick and an own goal from Gareth McAuley.
