Costa Returns to Chelsea Training
Controversial Chelsea star striker, Diego Costa finally got himself back into the club’s official training session, after spending some days off following his recent alleged fall out with Antonio Conte and supposedly back injury.
Costa was training on his own in the past two days, but according to ESPN sources, it’s merely because of his injury and not due to punishment from Conte after their row.
Nevertheless, there’s still lack of clarity regarding the striker’s future at Stamford Bridge especially with media strongly linking him with a potential big move to China or an Atletico Madrid return.
Despite being such an important figure for Chelsea’s run this season, his absence last weekend seemingly put some doubt on whether the striker will be staying until the end of season.
There’s still no clarification regarding the situation as Conte himself previously denied any discipline problem with Costa, stating that the attacker’s absence was merely because of the injury.
Until the January market ends, questions regarding the former Atletico’s star future will continue to be questioned as it can strongly affected The Blues title challenge this season.
Should Conte’s men decided to part ways with the Spanish international, they must looked for a replacement since it won’t be easy to maintain their table topping position without a quality forward up front.
