Chelsea international admits he’s unlikely to be at the club next season

Chelsea midfielder Marco Van Ginkel has admitted that there’s a high chance that he will spent another season away from Stamford Bridge next term.

The Netherlands international moved to Stamford Bridge in 2013 after beginning his career with Vitesse Arnhem.

However, he has struggled to assert himself in West London in the intervening seasons, spending time out on loan with both AC Milan and Stoke City.

Currently on loan with PSV Eindhoven back in his homeland, having moved to the Club temporarily earlier in the year, van Ginkel is in a fine run of form.

He has scored five goals and contributed one assist in eight league matches to date with the Dutch giants, who are currently in the Eredivisie, two points behind fierce rivals Ajax.

Speaking on Fox Sports’ show De Tafel van Kees, van Ginkel has admitted that he’s enjoying life at PSV,  and that he’s unlikely to be at Stamford Bridge next term.

“The chance is probably great,” van Ginkel began, when asked whether he would still be at the Dutch heavyweights next season. “I’m good here and enjoying myself.

“I’ve picked up very well with the club,” he continued. “I’m happy here.”
