People make fun of John Terry’s “captain, leader, legend” description, but it’s hard to deny that players truly seem to be inspired by him.
You have to look no further than today, when as is now traditional, Chelsea players have taken to Instagram to celebrate their captain’s 36th Birthday.
What’s unusual about this is players from other clubs doing it too. Ryan Bertrand posted the tribute below, despite not having been at Stamford Bridge for a good few years. Clearly John Terry has left a lasting impression on the former Chelsea man.
