Tottenham face CSKA Moscow in their final Champions League game of this season hoping to end on a high note after their early elimination.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side sit in third place in Group E and are unable to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition after a string of disappointing results.
However, they will still be hopeful of entering the Europa League and so Wednesday night’s encounter with CSKA at Wembley will be crucial in that regard.
As they look to put together some positive results, Pochettino has gone for a strong side with the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen leading the way hoping to secure all three points.

Given the fact that the Argentine tactician made changes for the key clash with Monaco last time out which ultimately contributed to his side failing to get the result they needed to qualify, he has attracted criticism with his decisions this time round, as seen in the tweets below.
Nevertheless, as noted above there is still plenty to play for and after bouncing back from their recent disappointments with a resounding 5-0 win over Swansea City at the weekend, it will be about building momentum and getting their season back on track for Tottenham on Wednesday night.
@SpursOfficial what's the point in resting fewer players than for the game we had to win?

@SpursOfficial a bloody strong team. Why didn't we put this out earlier? Now we're out, you put out the best team…

@SpursOfficial So we start Vertonghen & Walker in this meaningless game but rested them for a must win match in Monaco. FUCK OFF.

@SpursOfficial why didn't you play this team in the 5 games before?
