The New Balance 990 made its debut back in 1982. To celebrate the existence of this classic New Balance silhouette, New Balance will be releasing a new iteration of the model dubbed the New Balance 990V4. Releasing soon, here’s a good look at the New Balance 990V4 in the 1982 colorway.
The New Balance 990V4 1982 pays tribute to OG New Balance 990 that also came in a similar Grey finish. The New Balance 990V4 comes dressed in an upper that utilizes a premium pig suede and mesh upper. Details on the shoe include the embroidered “EST. 1982” on the side of the heel, the large “N” logo on the side panels and Made in USA / New Balance branding on both the heel and tongue. An ENCAP rubber sole unit take care of the shoe’s cushioning.
