You ever wonder how New Balance founder William J. Riley came up with the name of his company? Well, a little New Balance history explains that Riley came up with the company name by observing chickens in his yard and explaining how his arch supports worked with a chicken foot he kept in his desk. He explains that the chicken’s three-claw foot has perfect balance. The New Balance Yard Pack draws inspiration from chickens as it pays tribute to the company’s beginnings and how it all came about.
The New Balance Yard Pack consists of the New Balance Epic Tr, 991.5, the 577, 1500 and 576. All the pairs appear to be done in a combination consisting of suede, nylon, mesh, and/or leather using heavy contrast on the color blocking to create a vert clean and classic look. It should be noted that the pack will be releasing in two parts with the Epic TR and 991.5 dropping on 12/31 and the 577, 1500 and 576 releasing on 1/14. Get a good look at all the models above and let us know which one is your favorite.
