Frosted Flakes: We Threw Gasoline on the Fire and Now We Have Stumps for Arms and No Eyebrows

The title means nothing. I just wanted a reason to put the song in at the end of this article.

This was a fun weekend for Husker athletics. The mens and women’s basketball teams smoked Iowa and the women’s gymnastics team beat #8 Michigan. A team they tied with last year for the Big Ten women’s gymnastics crown. These are just a few of the successful teams that represent the university. They were just a few of all the wins that were gathered this week.

To add on to the fun, baseball practice started this week. The Fan Fest is Friday February 2nd if you are so inclined to go. Fourteen days later the season officially starts for the Huskers against UC Riverside down in Tempe Arizona at the Husker Classic. The year is moving along quite nicely so far. Hopefully the boys can bring home another Big Ten Championship and maybe make the CWS.

Anyway....on to flakes.
