Kicker Barret Pickering Commits To Nebraska Football

Mark ANOTHER Spring Game visitor committed.

Add one of the best Kickers in all the land to not only the 2018 cycle but the Spring Game weekend haul.

Nebraska has gained the commitment today of Barret Pickering. The Kicker from Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama.

While he has no ranking at all, Pickering is the 2nd ranked Kicker by Kohl’s Kicking Camps page, which is a pretty good indicator.

Pickering was 19/27 last year on FG’s for Hoover & a perfect 49/49 on XP’s. He did fill in with some punting last year as well, averaging in the low 40’s there. Pickering was 66/79 on touchbacks kicking off the ball too.

In Nick Saban’s backyard, the Huskers offered Pickering just a few days ago. He liked what he saw & committed.

Pickering joins Brenden Radley-Hiles, Manuel Allen & Tate Wildeman to commit from their Spring Game visit this past April for the 2017 cycle.

He’s not going to rankle star ratings and such, but getting a good kicker is essential, just ask Drew Brown.
