ESPN team writers think the Jaguars will go 13-3

The Jacksonville Jaguars will the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

You may have seen ESPN’s Mike DiRocco with his way-too-early 2018 season predictions for the Jacksonville Jaguars where he predicted each of the 16 regular season games and came away with a 11-5 record next year.

Fair. I think that’s a good expectation to have for a team one bad half of football away from the Super Bowl. The end result may look something like 10-6, but it’s not crazy to think this team gets 11 wins with an improved offensive line and better play from Blake Bortles.

But what if you looked at the opposing ESPN team writers and compiled their game-by-game predictions?

That’s what one ambitious Reddit user did and the rest of the league thinks more highly of the Jaguars than DiRocco or even most of us at this point — seeing the Jaguars as a 13-3 team and the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

AFC South

Jaguars 13-3 (5-1 Division, 10-2 conference)

Titans 8-8 (5-1 division, 7-5 conference)

Texans 8-8 (3-3 division, 7-5 conference)

Colts 0-16 (0-6 division, 0-12 conference)

Who were the only three writers who predicted wins over the Jaguars next year?

Todd Archer believes the Dallas Cowboys will win at home in Week 6, Jeremy Fowler thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers come away with a win in Week 11 on Sunday Night Football, and Cameron Wolfe thinks the Tennessee Titans win their Week 14 matchup on Thursday Night Football

What do you think? Will the Jaguars be closer to 11-5 or 13-3 when the 2018 season is over?
